Frankly, none of the hubs you can purchase today truly cover all or even most of the HA use cases.
The majority of existing hubs are vendor-specific, with Wink being the first multi-vendor hub to reach a wider market, though with painfully weak firmware that as been evolving way too slowly.
Wiwgag saw the problem clearly, but has been plagued by an inability to deliver, despite three years of effort. I very much doubt they'll fulfill all their KS commitments before 2017, and it could easily be 2018 before the bugs are worked out. So it's really not a near-term solution.
If you have a RasPi and a desire to roll-your-own, take a look at PiMatic. It is completely open source, uses cheap hardware, interfaces with tons of devices, and has a rich developer and user community. It includes mobile apps, and can even talk to my home security video system.
Even if you don't choose to use PiMatic, it still makes for a very good feature list to compare against the rest of the HA stuff out there.
